WebApr 4, 2009 · I have a Craftsman 18" 42cc saw. Does well enough as a light duty homeowner saw...I cut about 5-7 cords a year, not all at once. I've often though that it would be a great limbing saw with a 14" bar on it...with an 18" bar on it, it binds fairly easily...but with a shorter bar it ought to really make good use of the torque its got. Just picked up a replacement plug for my old reliable craftsman 18" 42cc saw, had it apart for new spring isolators for the handle as mine finally vibrated themselves into several pieces and decided to do a basic tuneup and clenaing.
