WebI have an AC66U and have exclusively used Merlin on it for 4-5 years without any issues. It gives you everything you want from DD-WRT, but keeps the familiar ASUS layout/format. It's so good that ASUS copied parts of it and made it part of their native firmware -- that should be an indication. All in all, it's solid, stable and well-known.
