Peripherin蛋白
WebPEN2 蛋白 (Presenilin Enhancer 2 Homolog (PSENEN)) Presenilins, which are components of the gamma-secretase protein complex, are required for intramembranous processing of some type I transmembrane proteins, such as the Notch proteins and the beta-amyloid precursor protein. WebPeripherin is a 57kD type III intermediate filament that is a specific marker for peripheral neurons, including enteric ganglion cells. Peripherin is expressed in the developing peripheral nervous system and is highly enriched in neuronal derivatives of the neural crest.
